For the past two years, we have been posting daily links for a free point provided by Mafia Wars. It’s been a smooth process as links for these points have been activated at 12am Pacific Time (aka Zynga Time) everyday. As you can see, many players check the page on this blog as it is updated daily at the same time (unlike the Mafia Wars Fan Page).
For reasons unknown, Zynga decided to change the time in which these links are activated. From now on they won’t work until 6:00 AM PST. This change will only affect players who are used to collecting the point between 12am-6am. If you collect it after, you won’t notice. Those who are used to collecting the point between 12am-6am should skip one to get back on track. We will continue to update our pages at 12am and will include both new and old links. Zynga is not reliable about posting these points on their fan page so if the links don’t work, you will have to wait until they are posted on the Mafia Wars Fan Page or Mike Nestor gets out of bed. The following was posted on the Mafia Wars Official Blog Click. Like the developers, the community managers ignore the good advice of “If it’s not broke, don’t fix it”! If they want more players to visit their fan page, maybe they should do something about all the spam and provide us with better information.
Mobsters,
Heads-up!
Henceforth, your daily free skill point link that we post on our Mafia Wars Facebook fan page will be available 6:00 AM PST onwards.
