New Attack Notification

The Mafia Wars Team is working on improving the way players are notified when they are attack. They chose to the same system that notifies you of your war status. The Official Mafia Wars blog reports that the feature is on a slow roll out and provides the following image.. It looks like the same system for the Declare War feature. I find it annoying and they might as well make it a permanent notification. There aren’t many of us left so as soon as you heal, you will be attacked! 

According to the blog post the feature is on a slow roll out. Upon clicking on the notification, you will be taken to the most recent attackers Mafia Wars Profile Page or the Recent Attackers Fight Page list. You can then return the favor. The new "system" is still in beta so there is room for improvement. Zynga wants our feedback in the form of a survey which can be found here. I would prefer to know ahead of time if I won or lost the fight and not have to attack back to find out. I wish they would devote the development time on making the Player Updates better.
