Farmville 2 Released So Beware For Cross Promotions

Zynga has released Farmville 2 today on Facebook so get ready in a couple of weeks for a cross promotion event like they did with Chefville & the rip off of the Sims, The Ville.

I will say I had to try it just to check it out and the graphics are great BUT it is way too busy a game. You need to do way too much and of course you need to spam the crap out of your friends to get things done. I know what a friggin’ surprise right. 

The game is heavy Flash so if you have an older PC it might be impossible for you to fully enjoy it as it will reset on you and you will have to do the crap all over again. It does have kool features like the grass swaying back and forth, the animals respond when you roll your mouse over them but like I said WAY TOO MUCH FLASH. 

The one thing I find funny is that your crops produce food for your animals but your animals also produce fertilizer for your crops. So basically you must collect SHIT from Zynga, LOL, as if we don’t get enough from them already. 

Zynga swears this game will not replace the original Farmville game but will be a new addition to their games. I tend to agree this game will be very costly you must have a ton of friends to get things done, it is expensive and they really want you to spend money to get thing done and level up and expand your farm. 

If Mafia Wars 2 was any indication to Zynga that dont work anymore as people dont have time to sit and play anymore and this game is very time consuming and they called that their biggest flop ever so you know what will happen here. 

Zynga needs this to be a hit and to be honest I dont see it being the savior for the company as they have a ton of pressure on them from investors now that they are public and the stock has been tanking on them. So bottom line is avoid it if you can and if they do a cross promotion like I know they will, get in and get the hell out. Farmville 2 overall rating is a FAIL. Even true Farmville players wont like it. But the graphics are great,.
