Many players are furious because they leveled in ChefVille yet didn’t get the promised rewards. Victims of this situation have contacted Customer Support on the Mafia Wars and ChefVille side of the house and have all gotten the same response .
Below is the canned response that Customer Support is giving to affected players. This doesn’t make any sense because players who got to Level 12 can certainly prove it.
This doesn’t seem fair to Mafia Wars players as we are being used by Zynga to boost their metrics. Apparently it’s not working very well so I suspect that other games aren’t offering a promotion at this time Click Here. Mafia Wars players are the wrong crowd to to ask as we barely have the numbers ourselves. If we were promised a loot item for getting to Level 12 then all players who get there should be entitled to the item.
Perhaps this promotion requires that you use the popup "Play Now" button to activate it. I know not all players received it so it’s possible the promotion is on a slow roll. We have had situations like this in the past. I really don’t know what the answer is as Zynga hasn’t posted anything official addressing the issue.

The reward items for The ChefVille Cross - Promotion have been designed based on your interactions with previous Cross Promotions.
As the promotion reward is granted automatically by our system it's not possible to make any adjustments to your reward.
