The 21st Limited Time Upgrade Property (and 25th Global Property) is the VFX Lab and is now available for upgrading. It’s the same old story that has been way overplayed in the game. For the next 16 days, beg for 471 parts to upgrade to Level 15. There is a little surprise for those who stop upgrading these properties once they get to Level 11. Level 15 now offers the most skill points. No more beating the system!
Not much is different from the Arc Reactor except for the loot items and upgrade parts. The last 8 properties offered a henchmen as the best item and the VFX Lab offers a non-living animal that offers an additional skill point on the highest level..
The Arc Reactor gave us a fake Iron Man and the VFX Lab introduces a fake Grimlock from the Transformers. Zynga loves to push the copyright envelope.
The individual parts needed to upgrade your VFX Lab are Soundproofing Material, Galvanized Steel and Cordless Drills. Each “Any Part” request will yield 6 parts in order from left to right. You can also make 1 “Individual Part” request and get 6 more parts. You can make each type of request once every 8 hours for a yield of 12 parts.
The following chart outlines the number of parts needed to upgrade to the next level. You will need to get a total of 471 parts to fully upgrade this property.
When you are all filled up on each part, it’s time to build to Level 1 or upgrade to the next levels.
Share these posts because your mafia can collect additional parts. Each player can pick up 4 parts every 8 hours from bragging posts. As most of know, the game will tell you the limit is three but it’s really 4 (try it and see for yourself).

The Fog Machine comes with +3 defense, the Mocap Actor with +4 stamina and the oh so cool Robotic Dinosaur with +5 attack for the Bronze, Silver, Gold and Ruby Levels. In a surprise move, Zynga made the Emerald Level Robotic Dinosaur come with +6 attack points. Now there is more incentive to fully upgrade this property. Now Railgun Barrels have even less trading value than they already did. I’m sure the traders appreciate this move!
